GRCWA

The GRCWA was founded in 1973 and is the primary guardian of the Golden Retriever breed in Western Australia. Our responsibility is to promote the temperament, appearance, soundness, natural retrieving and hunting abilities of the Golden Retriever. Our members are dedicated to the responsible breeding and ownership of the Golden Retriever. We advance and protect the interests of the breed through events and education. The GRCWA is committed to providing education to help pet owners obtain and care for healthy Golden Retrievers from reputable breeders.

The GRCWA is the primary guardian of the Golden Retriever breed in Western Australia. Members determine the breed standard, code of ethics and performance standards. As a member, your vote can help shape Bylaws changes and Breed Standard changes. No other organisation’s members care more about the Golden Retriever, or try harder to protect and improve the breed in Australia.

As an active member of the GRCWA you’ll join a community – with a chance to be involved and develop friendships through volunteer opportunities – all aimed at improving the club and the breed. Join the club and share the Golden Retriever Passion! Membership Form
